“ONE DAY I JUST WOKE UP AND REALIZED THAT I CAN’T TOUCH YESTERDAY. SO WAS I LETTING IT TOUCH ME?”
This one quote caused me to wake up start reading and brought so much inspiration with it. 20 words are all that took me to read so that I could commence a wave of projects and begin working on things that have been sitting in that little bank of ideas in Your head. Sometimes I go through my entire day and anything and everything jump starts my brain. And I can feel all of my creativity. It takes a lot to start something when it comes to someone criticizing you and analyzing every bit of you & your work. our generation is feeling the backlash of scrutiny & judgement harder than ever. Sometimes if you drop your inhibitions and you let the way you are hiding to come out, Not the you that you made to fit in, or fit a certain "aesthetic" the one that loves pink hair or piercings. or those pants that everyone keeps pointing are you for. Then you will produce your best work. The process of creation is a beautiful thing.
“THE GREATER THE ARTIST, THE GREATER THE DOUBT. PERFECT CONFIDENCE IS GRANTED TO THE LESS TALENTED AS A CONSOLATION PRIZE." ― ROBERT HUGHES
After a full month hiatus off of Social Media for self-rejuvenation & inner peace, I AM BACK and more refreshed than ever!!! I have spent my days with my nose inside magazine's, book's & watching movies & something really struck me. As I felt limited to my connection with you and everyone else, my creative process was lacking something, A void was there and I couldn't describe the feeling. I distracted myself with many things because I did not want to accept the reality that I was dependent off of social media and the internet. I began to look into older material and found this & my discovery was that it's not always a negative thing to need the internet, sometimes the very inspiration you need is from your friends, your favorite celebrities, models & "Yours truly" Your Bloggers!
